Main Duties

 

The Academic Council Department is an executive department concerned with facilitating the duties of the Academic Council and its both permanent and temporary committees. Among these main duties are to:

 

  • Prepare the Academic Council's meetings including invitation, agenda and other typing and issuing jobs.
  • Prepare and follow up the minutes of meetings and signatures and approvals.
  • Prepare and follow up the notices for the Academic Council's resolutions and recommendations.
  • Prepare and follow up the rewards of the Academic Council's members and both permanent and temporary committees as well as the examiners of academic production for promotions and academic referees.
  • Issue and distribute all correspondences of the Academic Council and its permanent committees to the concerned bodies.
  • Follow up the implementation of the concerned rules and regulations.
  • Prepare and design all forms and type the annual reports of the Academic Council and its permanent committees.
  • File up and mechanize the works of the Academic Council and its permanent committees.
  • File up all minutes of meetings as well as topics and records.
  • Answer all inquiries of the faculty members particularly the telephone ones and providing these members with all concerned forms and rules.
  • Give opinion and answer and follow up all transactions.
  • Manage up the affairs of the Department and attempting to provide all of its needs and requirements.
